Engineers are increasingly expected to understand users, product decisions, design, business context, and delivery, not only code. That's a lot to figure out alone, and most of it isn't taught anywhere.
Engineering leaders face the same problem from the other side: they need ways to develop these capabilities within their teams, not just in themselves.

Yes. Joining and participating costs nothing.
Do I need to use AI?
No. AI is one of many topics we discuss: a useful tool, not a requirement. Conversations about product thinking, design, engineering, and leadership are just as central.
Do I need the title “Product Engineer”?
No. If you build software and care about the product it becomes, you belong here, whatever your job title says.
